Adopted by the Royal Plantation family, the Mansfield Basic School ably serves the needs of children from the nearby area. Come and experience the infectious, laughter, the avid expressions and the grateful looks of these Jamaican students and their dedicated teachers.

Not many people are actually aware of the fact that Jamaica has a cigar-producing tradition every bit as storied and illustrious as any other island in the region. Come and see for yourself, as expert cigar rollers demonstrate their craft for your pleasure, during our Friday night Martini Hour.
Watch as deft hands cut the indigenous tobacco leaves and roll them into perfect cylinders. Try it yourself—roll your own perfect Jamaican Churchill. Then repair to our cigar room upstairs, where you can savor your own creation, along with a shot of Pimento dram or rum cream.
Take your leisure in truly sophisticated style, when you retreat to our warmly comfortable games room and library, where you can play a game of pool, try your hand at cards or a board game, or participate in our convivial “give-and-take” library tradition, whereby you’re welcome to take a book back home with you, just as long as you leave one behind.
Some rituals truly stand the test of time and welcoming our guests each Monday evening, between 7 and 7:30pm is one of Royal Plantation’s more longstanding and revered traditions.
So, please don’t forget to join our management team for some of our secret-recipe, home-made rum punch and sangria in our elegantly appointed Lobby Bar.
Explore our translucent seas with our wide variety of watercraft and non-motorized watersports. Launch directly from our watersports pavilion, on our pristine East Beach, and head out onto or dive beneath the surface of the scintillating Caribbean with our kayaks, windsurfers, Hobie Cats, snorkeling equipment, scuba diving gear (if certified), aquatrikes and, of course, our own private glass bottom boat.
Stay toned and flexible in paradise with the help of tennis on our two floodlit courts or a sauna or steam in our spa.
Play endless rounds on the gorgeously rolling links and manicured greens of the championship-caliber Upton Golf and Country Club. Remarkably lovely, with sweeping outlooks of the mountainous Jamaican terrain and the sun-dappled sea in the distance, this course embodies the breathtaking majesty of this unforgettable island.
Golf, with complimentary shuttle service and greens fees, is included on the Royal Plan and specially reduced for guests on the room only plan. The first shuttle leaves at 7:00am and the last shuttle departs at 5.30 p.m.
