Specific duties and tasks of your Royal Plantation Butler:

  • Meet and greet on arrival and take charge of the entire check-in process complete with welcome beverage.
  • Because the butler has checked the suite prior to arrival, everything is ready including guests’ preferential wines, liquor and snack as well as a ‘special  something ‘ from the General Manager
  • Offer to unpack guest suitcase
  • Offer complimentary pressing and shoe shine
  • Take note of any special requirements guest may have on arrival
  • Liaise with Duty Manager any problems the guests may have encountered getting to the property
  • Conduct mini-orientation with guests
  • Present guests with personal ‘Butler’s button’( pager) for immediate and easy contact 24 hours

  • Take room service orders for breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Collect and return guests laundry, dry cleaning and pressing
  • Escort guests to hotel facilities and outlets
  • Liaise with housekeeping over the servicing of the suites
  • Check and re-stock mini bar
  • Ensure guest suite is maintained in perfect condition at all times
  • Look out for guest well-being and safety at all times
  • Keep an ongoing information and activity log, detailing every aspect of the guest stay
  • Butler to be available to escort guest on off property tours, but only at their request as there will be an additional cost to the guests for entrance fees and tours
  • Introduce guests to the many ‘extra features’ available such as Pier dinners, romantic escapades, chocolate dipped strawberries, spa offerings and of course Caviar and Champagne

  • Present guest with account in advance of check out
  • Address with any query guest may have regarding account
  • Arrange transportation requirements of guests
  • Coordinate luggage pick up
